Our highly trained and caring staff provides a proven program of services specifically for those with memory-related impairments. Each staff member is trained in the universal worker model to provide care and services to each resident.

To be admitted to Valley View Memory Care, residents need to meet the following criteria.

• Not have any physical or mental condition or behavior beyond the scope of Valley View Memory Care's ability to treat or manage
• Not be of harm to oneself or others
• Not require physical or chemical restraint
• Require no more than one person to physically assist the resident with any activity of daily living
• Not be bed-bound or similarly immobilized
• Be continent of bladder and bowels or must be cooperative with others to control incontinency
• Be able to feed themselves unassisted or must be capable of feeding themselves with the use of assistive devices
• Be willing and able to transfer themselves unassisted, in and out of bed and on and off the commode
• Be under the care of a physician licensed in Missouri
