The specially trained professionals provide private duty nursing services in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Before receiving services, you are matched with a caregiver who carefully goes over the plan of care with you to ensure that you are comfortable and confident in the services provided.
There are a variety of reasons LifeStyle Services is needed. It could be that you’ve just returned home from a hospital stay and need nursing care for a short time. Or you would benefit from having assistance with personal care such as bathing and grooming. It may be that you need help doing household chores. LifeStyle Services and LifeStyle Professional Services, provides the quality, comprehensive care you need.
As a private-duty agency, LifeStyle Services offers a wide variety of services paid through private pay or a third-party private payer. Our staff serves the greater Kansas City area as well as John Knox Village residents.
Our paraprofessionals, including personal care attendants and certified nurse aides, provide a variety of comprehensive in-home services that allow you to remain independent.
- Assistance with bathing and grooming, oral care, dressing and other activities of daily living
- Assistance with walking and moving about

- Accompaniment during appointments (both medical and social)
- Assistance with laundry and light housekeeping
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Companionship
- 24-hour extended care (out-of-town business, vacations, etc.) or brief care (during meetings, school functions, shopping, dining and other engagements that take only a few hours.)
LifeStyle Professional Services is an extension of LifeStyle Services that provides nursing and therapy services to clients who do not qualify for Medicare. Our staff of skilled professionals, including licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, medical social workers and home care aides, provide a full range of quality nursing care.
